What makes a place like Pontiac worth less than 40% of the any other Oakland County city/place? I have come to the conclusion that it is a result of a social Scotoma (A partial loss of vision or blind spot in an otherwise normal visual field.)
When you see something from the same perspective, over a long period of time, those who are close to (the forest for the trees) develop a Scotoma. Only when seen from a difference perspective can we see the potential.
I invite anyone reading this blog to come and see Pontiac from a different point of view and see if you see the downtown differently?
